If you are willing to help the project, there are a certain number of things you can do:

Make a donation
It is vital to cover the expenses generated by the procedure, notably the lawyers’ fees, so that this proceeding can be brought to a satisfactory conclusion under the best possible conditions.
Contact Iliad and ask them to respect the licence
Explain to Iliad why it is so important to respect the wishes of the writers of the software they use. You can get in touch with:
  • Xavier Niel, main shareholder (xniel AT corp.free.fr);
  • Alexandre Archambault, director of statutory affairs (aarchambault AT corp.free.fr)
  • Rani Assaf, technical manager (rassaf AT corp.free.fr)
  • Customer service department (3244 for 0,34€/mn or by fax: 08.99.90.5000 for 1.35€/call + 0.34€/mn)
What you need to bear in mind when contacting Iliad is that you must convince them, not harass them. Stay calm, be didactic, and express your point of view. You can use the arguments contained in the FAQ, but avoid copy-pasting, which is counter-productive.
Spread the word
Contact the websites you know or in the Press Coverage list when they haven't talked about the campaign yet, or when you spot mistakes.
Also, try to explain what is happening to your friends, especially to those who subscribed to Iliad and are not aware of the whole story. When you like what Iliad can do, it’s sometimes hard to imagine such a failure! Try to pay attention to people’s reactions; don’t launch into fiery diatribes. Simply try to pass on the facts. To do so, the FAQ can be of some help.
Promote the campaign on your website
If you have a website, you can include the following HTML code to display the campaign’s donation meter:
<iframe src="http://freebox.flouzo.net/external/flouzometer" width="145px"
height="475px" scrolling="no" style="border: none"></iframe>
Discuss the project
Points of view, opinions, advice, and arguments you might have are important; by expressing them in the forum and by taking part in the discussions taking place there, you enrich the debate. Those who disagree with us are welcome! We do not know everything; your arguments, whatever they may be, deserve to be taken into account.
If you want to discuss directly, you can join the chat.
Help improve the website
Most pages in this site can be directly edited, as the site includes a wiki. If you notice something that would be worth correcting or improving, don’t hesitate and do it at once.
Make other suggestions about things that could be done :-)
If you think of something to add, feel free to edit the page.
